Cinghiai a Sotet December 2016 Adriana and Riccardo decided to reopen Agriturismo “Cinghiai a Sotert” (meaning “Boars under the roof”), which had been closed for almost ten years, in the heart of Friuli’s Collio district, renowned for its excellent wines.
They didn’t have a single grapevine, but they decided to make a traditional beer to serve with Adriana’s simple but wholesome cooking, and it has been a great success.
At various times in the year they organise excursions on horseback, quad, motorcycle, and bicycle and guided walks through the vineyards presenting the marvels of the area, most often winding up with a Sunday afternoon of music and dancing in the farmyard.
