Devetak tradition of hospitality, passed down over more than a century through five generations of restaurant owners, up to Avguštin.
An osteria, a wine bar, a farm and an inn. Still the typical ‘gostilna’ of the past, the restaurant offers diners the best dishes from the Karst, Slovenian and middle-European traditions, mixing them with current flavours.
There is a special focus on local wines, but there are also labels from all over Italy and the rest of world. The Lokanda (hotel) opened in 2007: eight guest rooms furnished in the old Karst style, with all of the comforts, in a renovated stable.
